2. Which rules apply

Visitors in the EU and EEA are covered by the GDPR. In Germany, § 25 TDDDG also covers storing or reading information on your device. People in Switzerland are covered by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (DSG). Optional tools stay unloaded until you consent, because that meets the strictest of these rules.

3. Hosting and server logs

When you open the site, the host that serves mafitex.com processes the usual connection data: IP address, date and time, address requested, referrer and browser type. The purpose is to run and protect the site. The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We do not use these logs for advertising.

The layout currently loads libraries from cdn.tailwindcss.com and unpkg.com (GSAP, Lucide, Lenis). Your IP address is sent to those services. MAFITEX does not set marketing cookies through them.

4. Storing your choice

Your choice stays for 6 months in localStorage under mafitex-consent and in the necessary cookie mafitex_consent. We store only the categories and the time, not an advertising ID. We ask again after that. Legal basis: § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG and Article 6 (1) (c) GDPR. We do not set this cookie before you choose.

5. Categories

Accept and Reject look the same. Without consent the site still works, using system fonts.

6. Language

Language is read from the browser (navigator.language), not from your IP address. We no longer call a geolocation service. If you switch language yourself, the browser stores that choice locally.

7. Contact by email, phone or WhatsApp

If you write or call, we use what you send us in order to reply. A WhatsApp link opens a Meta service outside this site.

8. Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and you can object. You can withdraw consent at any time with the button at the bottom left. Withdrawal does not affect processing that happened before it. There is no automated decision-making.
